Born on September 13 as the eldest son of Masaru and Misako Ano, confectionery manufacturers of Ikuno-cho, Asago-gun, Hyogo Prefecture (now Asago City). |

The family moved to Himeji City in May in connection with his father's business. |

Graduated in March from the Department of Marine Engineering at Hiroshima University's Faculty of Engineering and joined Clover Confectionery, which was run by his father. |

Established Harimaya Honten Co., Ltd. in June and was appointed as the company's representative. |
| 1993 Age 45 |
Was invited by the Crown Prince to visit the palace in September and presented a thesis entitled, "Recommendations for Fundamental Solutions to Environmental Problems." |
| 1994 Age 46 |
Visited the Crown Prince once again in January and presented him with a document strongly urging him to enhance his awareness of human affairs. |

The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake occurred in January.
Held meetings attended by approximately 10,000 people throughout the country in ten locations during September and October to boost awareness regarding environmental problems and encourage people to sign a petition to the Crown Prince. |

Since that time, through the utilization of the Harimaya Honten customer network, he has continued to encourage the development of detailed measures for solving environmental problems.
Sales have continued to increase and the company has been referred to by others in the industry as an example of excellence in business. |

The mission statement of Harimaya Honten.
The central tenets of our management philosophy are our heartfelt desire for every person throughout the world to be able to live in lasting peace and happiness and our desire to enhance and develop the humanity and cultural sensitivities of the Japanese people to enable them to fulfill their noble role as forerunners.
1985 was a major turning point in my life.
At the tender age of 37, I found myself the manager of a small confectionery manufacturer located out in the countryside.
I formulated this management philosophy to remind me never to be content with a small degree of success, because I believed that our company had a bright future and was destined for great things. I also had the seeds of the ideas that would transform Harimaya Honten into the company that it is today.
I believe that the only reason that I have been able to achieve what I have so far is on account of this philosophy.

My aim in life is to solve global environmental problems for all of humanity and all life on earth, present and future, in order to assure eternal security and happiness for all.

I have two sons and one daughter.There is really nothing more to say.
